Just compare to a year Memorex TravelDrive and is about twice the write speed as most multi-file erase operation.

I wrote a file of 520 MB for him. The folder contains several subfolders, as well, and had a total of 1167 objects. Write time v125W HP 4GB was 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Clear time was 35 seconds. For Memorex (even 4 GB), the write time was 4 minutes and 30 seconds to reset the time was 52 seconds. I also tried a test at work and can not remember the exact time, but I'm pretty sure it was even faster on XP
